Care Chat is an interesting new venture launched by local entrepreneur Mike Sobie. It’s daily telephone check-in service for seniors created to promote safety and well-being. Essentially, if you have an older relative who lives independently this service will call everyday to make sure everything is alright, have a little chat, and find out if they need anything. After the phone call a follow up email is sent to a list of loved ones. If there is a problem, or the senior can’t be reached, an alert message is sent out.
This design is focused on usability, accessibility and ease of use. Easy to read, nice big clean fonts, and simple, intuitive navigation. This site was built with wordpress, based on a modified version the 1140 grid, is HTML5 compliant and fully responsive. The responsive slider used was created by Virtual Pudding.
